Fishing controls - a humble request

I love this game very much but have a humble request.

When playing with mouse + keyboard, youre able to remap the controls.
For example, moving tool usage to a side mouse button.
However, this mapping isnt respected while fishing - after you cast, reeling in a fish will always go to the default keybinding of "T"
Will it be possible to someday somehow allow the remapped tool control (some keybind other than T) to also persist through fishing?
That way we can fish with the a different button than T, as of now there is no other option for snagging a fish with kb+m.
