OPINIONS: Deluxe? Worth it? / PC or Switch?? Cross progression??
Hello! I guess I just have a few questions that I'd love to get your opinions on.

First: Are you guys opting for the Deluxe version or the regular? I'm thinking Deluxe cause I love exclusive items.

Second: PC or Switch?? This seems like the perfect game for the Switch because cozy vibes and I assume it will be available on the Switch 2 when it releases. However, I have such an issue with logging off my PC to play a console. lol

Third: Does anyone know if there will be cross progression yet? So if I buy on PC now, and when the Switch 2 comes out, I buy there, can they merge into one save?

Thanks! I appreciate everyone's time.

so far it looks like each platform is separate. from what i hear, can't transfer mobile save. can't cross play, you only can coop with one other player.

check if the game is compatible with steam link?

From what I've researched there is no cross play/save and no plans to. Try to pick the platform you think you will play it more on, I personally am on my PC/steam deck more than the switch. I personally think I'm going with the standard edition, only because the items in the deluxe can be received when the events come around again, so I feel that the items aren't exclusive or special that I would never be able to get them otherwise. Though it would be nice to have all the items to get a nice boost/headstart to quests and friendship levels. Whichever one you choose I hope you have fun! I'll be buying later today myself

First question: I personally went with standard. Deluxe does include a lot of previous event items and some headstart materials, however all of this is still obtainable overtime. It is more-so an option for players migrating from mobile so they don't have as much catching up to do and will have all those event cosmetics. If you don't mind the extra grind required to earn all these cosmetics through gameplay then standard is fine and you won't be missing out on anything exclusive.

Second: Really comes down to preference. Switch will be locked at 30fps and likely slower load times compared to a decent PC which can easily run the game at 100+ fps no problem. There is always the possibility that a performance upgrade patch will come with Switch 2 as well which is something to consider if you plan to buy one. I'm guessing Switch will have a larger playerbase, but youll have no problem finding people on PC too. Ideally they will figure out a crossplay solution down the road but there is no word on that yet.

Third: There is no cross-progression in the game right now and no word if it will ever happen. This is likely because the mobile version has content that isn't on PC or Switch yet so it would create issues unless they reach a point of parity at some point when the new content arrives on other platforms.
