Report a translation problem
No one is demanding that a game be made only about LGBT+ people, but small references or opportunities for players to identify themselves in the game will not make it worse. On the contrary, it will allow even more people to feel comfortable in this cosy world.
And as for ‘children not seeing this’ - LGBT+ people exist in real life, and their stories should not be hidden. Acceptance of diversity is not ‘propaganda’, it's just reality. And if the game promotes love, friendship and respect, why not make it even more inclusive?
also ukrainians can learn english, not everything revolves around them
As for the Ukrainian language, this is not about ‘everything should revolve around us’. It's about respecting the millions of Ukrainians who play video games and deserve to be able to enjoy them in their own language. If other languages are being added, why should Ukrainian be ignored? It's not just a translation, it's a recognition of the existence of an entire people and their culture.
And if you can learn Ukrainian as easily as you offer Ukrainians to learn English, go ahead and try 😉.
I think a rhythm mini game would be cool if they did do music festivals and stuff
Something not being in a game (like a lesbian/gay background, could be anything) doesn't mean that the developers are trying to hide its existence. In HKIV, you're literally making cakes for your friends, using balloons to fly around the island and collecting seashells to craft cute hats. The game feels extremely welcoming to everyone and the vibes are both cozy and positive. You won't find anything negative about any minority... the game is welcoming everyone. Gay or not, trans or not... etc.
And idk. I don't think many people want to be reminded of their sexuality when the objective is to make strawberry cakes. At least that's my point of view. My sexuality not being a subject of discussion is, to me, a form of acceptance.
Thank you for your opinion! I partially agree - even small references, for example, in the form of cosmetics or flags, would be a good step. It is important that everyone can see something close to them in the game. And the idea of a rhythm game for music festivals sounds really cool! It could add even more fun to the gameplay. 😊
For some people, it's important to just play and not think about such things, while for others, on the contrary, it's important to see at least small hints that will give them a sense of representation.
There is also a request to add the Ukrainian language. I also noted that I don't have the game yet, but I would like to buy it when I have the money.
Thank you for your opinion, it's also worthy of attention 😊.
