Deluxe confusion

I keep seeing slightly conflicting information about the deluxe. It has been told to me that you can and will get the items that have been out for the OG in the deluxe (300+ items). Okay, but how long will that take. (This is the conflicting info. I've read one year and two). Could HAVING the items take away from the events? Will the events not be fun because I already have all the things?
I don't mind the grind, I do rather enjoy it, but I also see the appeal of getting a little boost as I did not have access to the game before this, but I like a boost, not a complete hand out so much that the events lose luster.
I'm going in blind, just a big fan of HK, so any information is appreciated!

I haven't found the information from the official sources, but people are complaining about the game on reddit and they're saying that the devs are saying that previous events that was held on the mobile won't reappear in the switch/pc version.

Which means the ONLY way to get those items is the deluxe edition (and some people complain you cant upgrade to deluxe later if you buy normal)

Oh interesting! Thank you for letting me know. I was going mainly on this video from Nikki Island Adventures? The title is "You NEED To Know This Before You Buy Hello Kitty Island Adventure on Nintendo Switch and Steam"
She seems to think the events will be coming. "It is FALSE that the items in the Deluxe Edition are exclusive only to the deluxe edition" "all events repeat" to quote.
I don't know this youtuber so idk her sources but she's very confident lol

Update to say she actually responded to my curiosity about this! "You won’t be behind. It’s just meant to help! There’s always new items every year too AND the old ones come back" so if that's true, that's lovely.

Past Event Items

Items from the previous years' events will always be available again in some way during the following years' events. However, some may be difficult to obtain or require participating in an event more than one time.

Past event furniture can also be obtained by participating in Multiplayer and earning Friendship Bead Friendship Beads to trade with Keroppi Keroppi. Event clothing is not distributed outside of events, but most can be gifted after reaching Multiplayer Friendship level 13 with the other player.

No I wouldn't do anything yet. This upgrade is set at full price, so I think they are scrambling to fix things. Idk I'm just vibin' lol
