I'm 32 hours of playtime and I'm not even half way thru the friendships.
As for new content this was on apple arcade before Steam and they have been updating it since and with the launch of the switch and steam version they added Icy Mountain content and a bunch of other things.
I'm pretty sure this game did really well here on Steam so we can probably expect more content.
Snowfall: All-new ski chalet-themed furniture, decorations, and clothing
Hugs & Hearts Festival returns in February
New Creation Station – Piano Plush Pals
Remote Companioning
New Flower & Effect – Frostfeather & Frost
New Recipe – Snow Ice
New Visitors: Gori and Pekkle’s family
This is what was added to the Apple Arcade version in jan 2025

The endgame content of this game includes gardening and, as a bit of a spoiler, creating all the recipes for the café’s Dango and Tapioca drinks, as well as furniture customization. There's also a collection of character hats (which can only be obtained at a too low drop rate after becoming best friends). Most people can complete this collection by giving gifts to all characters every day for a year in real time.
As for flowers, it’s likely impossible to ever create every single color and pattern variation, even in a lifetime. Additionally, since this game receives regular updates, similar infinite recipe-based content may be added in the future.
Other endgame content includes collecting music discs, which spawn randomly across all regions at a rate of only one per day in real time. In the Steam version, there are 157 discs in total, with duplicates being inevitable. Because of this, collecting everything in just 18 hours is completely impossible. Even 180 hours wouldn’t be enough. If you're playing solo, expect to spend at least 300-400 hours—excluding flower collection, of course.
Daily play sessions are generally short unless you focus on gardening or collecting music discs. However, these short sessions add up over time, eventually totaling hundreds of hours.
No problem I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
