How do I stop the constant notification noise?

So whenever I have a quest, the game is making a low toned "Ping!" sound effect every few seconds. How do I make that stop? I don't remember it being in the Switch version. The noise is driving me mad. I know I can turn quest stuff off in the log, but I'd hate to have to do that, especially when following the guide light

There is an option in the settings > Play (?)
I play in my native language whish is not english so i can't say for sure, but i don't have such a ping all the time, so maybe this is that?

I'm fine with it. That ping does help me out if I made something for the first time.

I don't mind when it's for things like that, or an achievement. What annoys me is I'm not following the guiding light, or go a touch off course to pick up materials, it pings at me. It's at the point now where I hear it for an achievement or the like, and my first feeling is annoyance, cos of the noise lol
