Red dots next to NPCs on the map?

For some reason i still can't really get what do these dots mean, just a red dot in a white circle right next to some character's icons. I don't see any quest exclamation icons next to these characters in game, and i've already gave them the presents. Do i miss something ridiculously simple?

Hmm that is odd, usually thats to indicate you can still give them gifts that day. Maybe its bugged for you?

i have flowers of friendship, maybe theese are triggering it then?

My understanding is that it means you can give them more gifts. Can give then three per day

okay, i see... i've noticed that now it works correctly, yet i'm 100% sure it was showing me this dot when i already gave NPCs three gifts before. It was a bug probably but at least now it's fine, lol, thanks
