How much playtime per day without timeskip?

If you do no timeskip, how long approximately can you play per day before you are blocked by friendship level and other road blocks? Assuming you play normally without timeskip. Its currently holding me back from buying the game. I want to be able to play long sessions if i want to.

It depends of the day, some days there is ''just the daily tasks'' to do, which is... if you do everything 2-3h at most.
When it's a more busy day (like today i've got more quests to do and i still have my multiplayer to do) is about 4-5h to do everything.

The game does not take ''much time'' per say but it can be time consuming if you try to minmax stuff around !

2-3 on normal day, 4-5 during the busy one as person mentioned above.
However, if you actually have a lot of free time, you can mass catch swamp clamfish for the sticks/wood, and collect the trash in the ocean as it respawns.
When you unlock weather, you can also AFK a bit until Rain in Hothead Mountain, Starfall in Rainbow Reef or Steam in Seaside Resort happens. The special rare fish you catch during those weather events could be either turned for a lot of prizes at Fwishing Well, or given to Badtz in bundles of 10 to receive extra 50 Sand Dollars/Seashells/Obsidian Shards every day
