Even if it's true, which I doubt, they're not shoving it down our throats and actually being subtle about it. It's not even part of her story (as much as we've seen so far) as she seems entirely focused on researching fighting techniques. I'm guessing it's not even going to be brought up.
This is also the same company that gave us Ash Crimson and Shion years ago before wokeness was even a thing, so yeah, SNK fans would not be phased by this.
But no one used that character so it wasn't exposed on air. It looks like a subtle balancing act is being played where SNK Preecha character is queer-baiting but probably won't be seen anyway due to not being tournament-viable at high level. So all the queer coded color in her hair and arm bands won't be seen. The colors don't need to be an exact match to the trans flag or anything before the message is sent. They are flying close to the sun with this though. Those Human Resources glasses is the cherry on top, looks like a student taken straight out of a Californian college humanities course.

Twitter fantasies and fan-fiction as someone else mentioned.
Wow.
So fan speculation becomes truth, until official word denies it?
It is just the opposite, boy.
Official word or no word.
This is how it truly works.
Real brains know that with fiction something is regarded as non-canonical fandom, until official word actually confirms it. Not the other way. And not even a second before it takes place. SHOULD it ever happen.
We are in 2025, and people still struggle with basic common sense.
Feel free to espose your pet theories, speculations, concerns... It can be ok, as long it is properly labeled.
Don't try to shove down our throats you wild theories as facts, when your own word, accolading that SNK DOES NOT CONFIRM it, disprove what you clam.
If there is no official confirmation, then it can be anything BUT fact.
Deal with it.
Right. Some time ago I was reading people saying that Michael was also a name for males only.
Even if you are right - and you could be misinformed - one should use occam's razor and favor the opinion that SNK made poor research, favoring the meaning of the name rather than the gender/sex, they favor the wildest theory.
Kids nowadays will jump to the most bizarre explanation. That they were able to hide a trans character in such a way that their largest investor would not take notice.
-But you dont understand, they are hiding it!
Yeah. Right.
It is the exact same behavior from the KS trekkie girls. The ones swearing that Kirk and Spock had an affair in the 60s. But the producers had to hide it in plain sight.
Common sense exists. Get there faster!
Why cant people be objective, and stick to facts?

One of my complaints is the design of the faces in the game; not even Cristiano Ronaldo looks like himself.
