Red Head Detention Elevator Glitch

Hey is anyone else encountering a glitch/bug/error/pissing me off problem at the start of mIssion six: Red Head Detention where when Black Widow gets on the elevator it rises to the point where itd just about disappear behind the obstructing platform them stops and reverses direction back to the ground, instead of continuing up so you can actually complete that part of the level?

i'm trying to find a solution for that some people say it's a physics glitch or something

I said in another topic, someone on GameFAQs said try turning down graphics to use the elevator. (I don't see why that would work, but supposedly it did for someone)

i put everything on low and off from the options menu didn't help

still wondering why some people have this issue and others don't, I'm running on highest settings and didn't have any issues with that elevator.
I even have a clip of myself playing that stage and got it on my 1st try.

Actually, now that I think about it, I set the executable of the game to Windows 7 compatibility mode (I'm on Windows 7 too) in order to be able to play windowed using DXwnd.... Maybe forcing the compatibility mode somehow fixed the elevator glitch hence why I never got it?

Im at this part now, and got the glitch (WinXP) so I'll be trying different things to see if I can get it to work myself, hopefully tonight I can figure something out, it is a common problem though.

The glitch fixed for me after todays patch.

Heh, well I played offline (pre-patch) and turning the graphics all to low, and the effects all to low/off DID fix it, not perfectly, but the elevator went higher up, each time, till it finally let me jump off.... then Hawkeye got stuck down below with the glitch lol, so I had to jump down and with both characters on it went up easy.

Glad to hear the patch fixed this as well, Im updating right now.

Simple solution guys look left using the camera default key is "L"
