Does this DLC just unlock characters early or is it all new content that is not in the game already? I'm getting ready to buy but gonna be real frustrated if I pay $5 to spoil a poriton of the game by solving quests for me

Hmm.....to answer my own question after making a purchase of faith.

The DLC took no time to download and install..

Meaning that the code is already in the base game but....

...I don't think there was any way to unlock these characters without purchasing the DLC - There's about nine new characters in total and they create a new row at the very bottom of the character list (already purchased and ready to go) after the Customization slots.

Hawkeye's flier is ready to go as well - Didn't check the new ground vehicle(s).

There is a way to unlock them. I mean there was one for LEGO LOTR so I'm almost 100% certain you can unlock them on here too. I'll wait for the end of the sale before I buy the DLC though since it could receive a small discount (and I'm currently busy with other things):

It apperas to me that DLC's are already included in the game, because nothing has changed to my game files after I purchased the DLC. It looks like the activation code has been added autamaticaly by the Steam when the game is launched.

IIRC, this pack was a pre-order DLC. So without buying the DLC, there is likely NOT a way to unlock them through normal gameplay.

The game files are already there for it. It's the same with LEGO LOTR.

Only reason I haven't bought it yet is cuz there seems to be no gurantie that we'll get all the DLC for this version like we would the console version. I'm not down with the idea of 'chance' on that where I would then have to make yet another purchase of the console version, play through it again even most likely, just to get the maximum benifit.

Kinda not cool, and we should get the up front certanty we will also get the DLC here, or be up front and honest that NO we will NOT.

I would say that people shouldn't waste their $5 for this. It really doesn't add any significant value to the game. Wait for further discount before buying it.

Hm, I don't understand your question. The DLC brings only new characters and vechicles to the game, not an MMO option.
