So if for some reason the Valve servers would suddenly shut down, people with basic programming knowledge would come up with solutions.
If Denuvo servers would go down, you would have to crack every game manually, since the DRM differs every time to avoid an automatic solution.
But Denuvo Server down would people hire more to programming how to crack the denuvo drm for the preservation.
Stop comparing these two.
Steam has an offline mode. Denuvo does not.
Also, with Steam you gain access to all the depots for that game. For example, you can specify to download the older version of Bioshock before they added the 2K launcher which broke the game on Linux. You own more than most realize with Steam.
I mean that's certainly a take I guess.
No one said that. Please do not put words into people's mouth in order to win an argument. What they said was that Denuvo is bad because if it were to go down for any reason, you'd be SoL on your games.
He never said that either.
But... wasn't that the whole entire argument before? Was game performance... or are you guys just changing your argument to whatever suits it at that time, or until it gets debunked - Whatever mask you guys choose, your still illegally pirating the game.
Looking forward to the next argument you guys use to cope
