Tips for Winning!
I just beat the sanitary pod on easy for the first time and figured I would give my 2 cents for those interested and people who might be struggling (especially on harder settings).

Learn the heroes and their abilities. The best IMO: Max for starter (extra science is big bonus early, plus extra dust=always use Max to open doors). Chef for his cooking with gas ability (consider keeping at level 1 so it is cheaper to restore with science and use multiple times per wave if needed, almost too OP). Lots of other good heroes, but those two are essential as far as increasing your chances of winning goes.

Don’t try to research everything. Get your FIDS modules researched as high as you reasonably can within the first say 5-7 floors. After that, consider passing up on the chance to upgrade a replicator from lvl 3 to lvl 4…it is getting too expensive and the science may be better used abusing your abilities.

Only towers I ever really use: prisoner prods, neurostun, tear gas. That is it. Most bang for the buck. Neurostun and tear gas combo works great in rooms that mobs will spend a lot of time in. 4 slots? Use 3 tear gas and 1 neurostun. Against zoners (flying anti-module), use prisoner prods as fodder to slow them down to preserve your neurostuns and tear gas further back, just rebuild after each wave. Tesla is more expensive and will prob get destroyed by zoners anyways.

Operating a shop is key in later levels. I will bulldoze any other major module to position a shop once I find merchant.

Buy aftershave when ever you see it. Give to Max, Chef (anybody not operating). Then you can take out keepers, riders, zoners(who are on the frontlines taking out your prisoner prods) or just fight freely in the neurostun/tear gas room (just watch out for kamikazes). And they just give you some breathing room as far as micromanagement goes.

I could keep going but are the most important things that come to mind. Good luck!

Wow, we've got very different methods for winning. I won Sanitary Easy with actually full research finished. (pepper spray 4, claymoar 4, kip 4, tac hud 4(which turned out to be a waste), lan 4, all 4 FIS, dust field 4, tesla 2, smoking gun 1, pris prod 1, neurostun 2, autodoc 4). My resources were really floating at around 600 total by the time I finished Sanitary.

I believed that rushing one of the Level 3 operators was essential for winning (since it gives you so much back!), but your Max + Nanor win proves otherwise.

Added you btw. When they fix mp, it would be great to get an invitational Sanitary Pod "Winners Only" game going, I know another guy in USA that's beaten it, hehe.

Never tried that mode since i always use active pause during my games and i never played with the Drill pod. Is that much harder than easy mode ?

Last question : do you know if modules stack ? For example, if you put 2 LAN module on your map at level 1, do you get +240% of defense (120% +120%) ?

Thanks.

Modules do stacks, but some properties have a min or max values (for modules, the max defense seems to be 75 for both minor and major modules).
(Modules have a base defense between 10 and 33, depend on their type and level.)

Yep, stacking is the beauty of neuro/tear gas combo in big rooms. Especially in situations where there would be too many targets for other modules to handle. There are nuances to stacking as Ely points out, but general rule of thumb is most things stack.

I'm down for some mp, but yeah, they gotta fix dropped games(are mp saves working?)
Ok, thanks. Good to know.

Just did a casual easy run with no pause to unlock sanitary, and Oh my gosh Neuro/ tear stack is ridiculous only way the mobs can get throught is with those that focus lilttle modules.
