Indeed. Private lobbies would be good, but you can already kick people out so it's not a necessity. and you can already trade items by selling them to the merchant. Compared to having all your progress erased at floor 11 because your friend had an internet hiccup, those issues are nothing.
If there was a reconnect opion we could have salvaged the game but since there's nothing like that we had to abadon 2h30m of progress.
Even Save option would have been ok since we could save, quit and restart the game with our friend from saved position.
Coop is really fun to play and I would risk a statement that it's even better than singleplayer experience in Dugeon but it really needs at least one of mentioned features to be playable.
I'm not saying the game is bad, just that multiplayer needs some fixing
The co-op experience is in most peoples view better than single player and will be a huge selling point for the game going forward once these things are added.
We are currently working on the multiplayer stability, and I insist on the fact that this our top priority.
As we said in the announcement for the the First Aid Kit Update:
We also understood that the possibility to save a multiplayer game is wanted by the community but as I said, focus on the stability first.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
