Trading in multiplayer

I am currently in a game. Did a quick search.
Can we trade items between players?

Nope,not yet anyway. The only solution is to find a merchant,sell the item to him so he adds it to his inventory,then the other player can purchase it from that same merchant.

I'm having a issue as well. I can't manage my backpack. I got too many items, I want to keep the rare ones for future trades but it seems that I can only equip/unequip stuff.

Also, this user discussion forum is quite barren. Do the devs actually see stuff that get posted here since they got their own forum.

For inventory management, click an item in the backpack once then click an empty spot in the inventory to move it. Then move the item you want to keep from the inventory into the backpack space you just cleared by doing the same thing.

And devs do see stuff that gets posted here. I've seen them respond to bug reports and other stuff. Keep in mind that it's a weekend. For some other games I've played, community managers and such had weekends off. I don't know if Amplitude is the same way regarding that.

Another way you can trade is to give the other person your hero, let them equip that item to your hero, then give it back. That should work.
