Resolution Stuck?
so I noticed after playing DotE on a laptop at 900p, its now locked to 900p on my desktop. Ive tried deleting the local content, disabling steam cloud and THEN deleting local content, and so on... is there a way i can force the resoltution to be 1080p?

EDIT: here is the screenshot showing it thinks my monitor is not 1080p

Thank goodness the regedit tweak worked. I had it stuck at 800x600, which meant I could not even click the new game button. This game really needs the ability to change resolution manually.

yeah that worked very clearly. odd that the final 1.0 + release didnt add a resolution option... hopefully it will be added soon.

I have the same problem except my game tells me I am at 720p when my regeddit is 1024x1280 which is the correct resolution for my screen. What to do here?

I didn't have that difficulty in previous versions: please fix it because I just can't play with a stretched game or a reduced one.

Hi, you can try to set the resolution manually in the games startup options. Use "-w" to set the width. In my case it was "-w 1440" because my native resolution is 1440x900. You don't need to set height ("-h"). It worked for me on my Mac.

Huh, -w doesn't change anything for me. I've tried multiple times with multiple numbers, no go. My resolution is 1920x1080, on a Mac. Guess I'm waiting for a patch :(
