Operate skill not working?
I have two people with the operate skill standing next to separate industry modules, however neither of them will use their operate skill (which they've been using on previous floors). I tried switching rooms for them to see what happens and opening a door, but they won't use the skill.

Has this happened to anybody? Is there a solution?

Switching them around rooms is causing your problem. For the skill to activate they need to stay in 1 room for 2 turns. A small white gear should appear on turn 1, and a large green one appears on turn 2 to indicate activation.

There's a Stele (giant crystal) called No Operators that blocks operating for a few turns.

That's probably what it is, thanks! Also why do my modules sometimes depower when I reveal a new room but have sufficient dust?

Sometimes an EMP will disable modules inside a room. You'll hear a loud electrical noise and recieve a message when this occurs. It will power back up after a few doors.

Good to know, that's about the only thing that I didn't pick up on in my playthrough (besides the whole heroes killing each other thing), probably could have made it to the end had i not lost my highest leveled hero T_T

Only one Hero can operate a Module in a room. If two or more heroes are in the same room as a Module that can be Operated, then the game will automatically select whichever one has the highest Wit stat will operate the Module. (If there's a tie, it might be random who operates it). There are some Devices that will increase Wit and I would recommend you give them to whomever your primary Operators will be.

The easy solutoin to Operating issues is to just build another major module in a nearby room and have your other Operator(s) handle those. I strongly reccommend it, as you'll generaly want two full-time Operators to reach the end of the game.

Some Heroes will get Operate at Level 3, others Level 4. If your Hero cannot Operate by Level 4, then they will not get that ability (Unless you equip them with a certain Device or get an All Operators Stele)
