DLCs are a mess.

I don't want the TF2 characters anymore. So, i tried to deactivate their DLC.
Turns out, i can't.
I have all the DLCs, and all that's showing up in the game properties, under the DLC tab, is the ... amplitude badge.
All the DLC are appearing as bought on the market page (except organic matters ... for ... reasons), but not in my game library, where again, only the amplitude badge show up.

so yea, i have no way of uninstalling the dlc i don't want anymore, and i don't really like it. It's the only game i own that is this messy with its DLC.
I have less problems managing DLCs with Crusaders Kings 2 ... and that's saying a LOT.

Not really given the game asks you what DLC you want to use every time you boot it up. Not many games give you the option to deactivate DLC. The only other one I can think of off the top of my head is AI War, which pretty much goes with the Crusader Kings 2 method of handling DLC.

Well games allow to deactivate DLC in your steam library. Not wanting the TF2 guys in the game is a vaild request, especially since u cannot just maneuver around it by not choosing em at start..they will eventually still spawn as playable characters on the go.
Gotta try that out some time.

I haven't tried to remove the DLC's but man do I wish I could delete every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trace of TF2. That game is crossover cancer.

well that's the thing, i precisely cannot do what you just said.

i have all dlc's but the only thing that appear in my steam library is the amplitude badge. so i cannot deactivate any DLCs.

those TF2 char completely ruin the immersion ... but i'm not playing this now so yea. whatever. thanks.

uninstall all the files then reinstall the ones you want.
