Whats with the absurdly strong blue frog people?

I can kill normal tough or strong looters all day, but a blue frog guy takes like 20 arrows to kill, and he's still charging at me with my own arrows and he can run faster than I can catch up, whats the deal?

Blue frogs are are known to he crazy tough and insane. Most of the time it's because of the the fact there crazy and my guess would be that since there in the blue frog cult.

They view pain differently and probably and most likely just ignore it. Because I had shot a blue frog point blank with two 00 buck shot rounds and he still didn't die and managed to put up s fight.

It's best to avoid them unless you have good gear since there not easy to scare off or put a lot of damage on them and then have them retreat(like what most looters and enemies would do).

If you manage to find a dead blue frog, you can take and wear his sash and the other frogs won’t fight you.

I'm not sure how the illness mechanics work exactly but I think taking their sash gives you a decent chance of being infected with the blue frog virus/illness. Which basically gives your character a 1/3 chance of survival. If you do survive you can't catch it again, but it's really not worth risking a character on...

As for the lore. I'm pretty sure they're a cult that view getting the virus and surviving it as some sort of sacred rite. Not sure if they're actually mad or just very exclusive. It's been a while since I played that far into the game so I'm rusty on the details.

I always wear there sash and never got sick to where I got the blue frog disease.

But interesting theory you got there. I think they talk about some details about what they believe off and on. But I'm not 100% sure.

Still would be cool if there was a offical page for lore and stuff like that.

I don’t recall ever being infected by a dead blue frog that I came across. But yes, you are likely to get sick if you come into contact with one that is alive.

You cannot get infected by putting on a blue sash. This is an untrue rumor.

You can get infected by being within a range of 4 of a Blue Frog. The chance increases the closer you are.

You can also get infected via events that include Blue Frog members.

You cannot get infected by occupying the same hex of a Blue Frog.
