For the full experience of the Saboteur as to what could have been, go on to ModNexus and install Global Mod 2.0. It restores a bunch of cut content such as unused vehicles and weapons, several scrapped missions, cut music, includes small changes to existing missions for the sake of better challenge and immersion, adds new environmental details and scenery, and allows the player to jog around while disguised without drawing suspicion as long as they don't sprint. This also allows you to bypass restricted checkpoints while disguised as a soldier even in tanks, something that you couldn't do before in the vanilla game. This makes the disguise system even more useful. The mod even adds an unused knife takedown that was part of a planned DLC (the developer on his channel explains in one of his videos on how to access it). I tried it myself and it made the game feel so much more complete and makes me sad to know what we missed out on.

The developer behind the mod is still updating it with more additions planned soon. Feel free to try it and give him your support.

You can run the exe on your Windows machine, pointed at an empty directory, to extract the files. Then you can just copy those to the install folder on the Steam Deck.

No idea why it's not distributed as the raw files themselves, the exe doesn't actually do anything special other than extracting everything (and optionally backing up the original files).

Apparently. I personally hadn't known about it before the game came to Steam (even though I've completed it twice on Origin). Anyway, it's just an extra attack with long animation which nobody would use after unlocking the "Touch of death" perk.

That was another thing I was wondering, whether if it would only be used before the player unlocks "Touch of Death" or if it would replace it. Glad to know it doesn't since that perk is way too useful.

Does this mod have that building with the naked woman dlc? I remember it gives you a new vehicle too. Forgot the name of it, but it is like a nude bar. I got this actually as a pre-order instead of the nazi knife dlc back in the day.

I found the name is the midnight show. Anyways, i got this as a pre order dlc. Apparently they gave it out too for free...

EA games might of permanently removed it. But it did add some new vehicles and a gun i think other than the naked woman at the bar.

Midnight Show was the main DLC released and is part of the PC version by default. The nudity at the Belle can be toggled in the options menu. It didn't add any weapons, but it did add a limo that you could win in that knife throwing minigame, and new hiding spots across the map.

I do not know. I use the US language GOG version, which is already uncensored.

i am enjoying complete mod! i also used the 4gb patcher on the executable so now the game can use more than 2gb of ram if it wants! Steam does not allow you to remove this limit on old games however because of steam-drm wont let you adjust the executable despite it being the same name and file size as before. Im playing gog version (Which is specificially why i avoid steam games lately)
