Need for Speed: SHIFT

Need for Speed: SHIFT

overhaul mod 2.0?
Hey, does anyone have the overhaul mod v 2.0? All the links i can find on google all lead to nogripracing which doesn't load (error forbidden link). One alternative link to megaupload ended up with an error too.

Appaerantly, nogripracing is online but i just can't access it anymore for some reason.
So, if anyone has the overhaul mod 2.0, could you kindly upload it elsewhere for me?

Thanks!

Also, if you don't see SHIFT on my games list, i'm not pirating it, bought it on Origin, but their forums are practically dead.

Does that work with the steam version? And won't it screw up laptimes for better or worse?
I read some of the details: changing engine and grip statistics on cars, that sound like hacking to me.

It's a mod. Mods change the game. I wouldn't call it hacking. Can't vouch for laptimes.

ok, this game is a very fun game to play, however it leaves a lot to be desired on the realism part of things, so these mods aim to improve on that, so the physics of the game will be improved with these mods, and you will also add more content to it, cheating would take the fun out of the game, a sort of shortcut to get all the stuff, this aims to make the game more enjoyable and challenging, moding is not hacking, moding is improving and adding content.

well if it changes the laptimes it obviously only is fair if all racers have the mod installed in MP games, but for SP? well could care less i guess

SP does matter to an extent, when comparing scoreboard and laptimes (and videos).
It would certainly go quite a way to explain one guys "too good" mclaren run and some other people that I drove against online. That kind of thing bugs be, but it is not like I will go back immediately and do my best again - once should be enough.
Just a shame if I have judged my driving against "modded" cars.

And for the record, you can try passing off 'modding' at just the non-cheating "improving" and "adding" kind. Bottom line is the term stems from the word 'modifying', i.e changing. Regardless of the kind of change.
In a lot of games/communities, and console games in particular, modding is synonymous with hacking (usually items/character/savegames), specially if the game has no builtin addon/mod support.
Having seen the online leaderboards, hacking seems to very much be a thing and has made them useless for any honest comparison.

my preferred way is that games allow to be modded, but disable leaderboards with modded files and announce modded players in MP ;)
