Need for Speed: SHIFT

Need for Speed: SHIFT

Filename...
On start up the game runs fine with the starting cinematic and so on. Get to the start screen and it coes up with new game like normal. Now the problem. I click enter and it says 'Please enter a filename for your save game' I click on this and it comes up with a blank box like you would expect to put in a save name, yet typing in this box works less well that trying to stick car parts together with jam. It doesnt recognise any form of typing at all.

If anyone has the same problem and a resolution tot his, it would be appriciated. I dont like the idea of Steam selling us games and then finding out that they dont work with any system wanting to use them!

try useing the enter key instead of a mouse click see if that is the issue, click the box as you did with the mouse and do you get the orange box around it? select the enter key instead and press it does it now allow text input? if so then use the keyboard and tab through boxes, you might not have a compatable hardware mouse driver installed and your useing a softmouse, or might just be a overlay issue either way if the KB works for you, then nothing more you need to do game dont require a mouse to play, hope this helps!
