Report a translation problem
There are a few other things in there to mess with to have more control and a more fun drive.
ABS: On
Traction control: low
Stability control: Off
Assists: Off (On if doing Drift maps)
There's also more to drifting than just throwing it into a corner and pulling the handbrake.
Also, are you using a keyboard? If you're using a controller, you wanna make sure your control settings are also optimal.
Edit: I forgot to mention - don't use the handbrake, use the accelerator and normal brake to shift the weight of the car around to help the drift. Using the handbrake just makes your life harder...
Don't set speed steering sensitivity to 0, set it to 100%, otherwise you will get a massive delay. That setting is basically how fast you want the game to react to your inputs, 100% being closer to a 1:1 input.
The handbrake is fine for tight corners.
Don't learn in time trial mode since it uses diferent physics.
Don't learn on normal tracks, if you can't drift on the easier drift tracks then you definitely can't drift a normal track.
