----------------------- Page 1-----------------------

FFOLKES Unlocks123 mod v1.4.1

1. Must own a legally copy of Battlefield 2 and have it installed.

2. Must have 1.4 patch installed.

3. Must un-install previous Unlocks123 mod prior to installing v1.4.1.

4. Unzip FFOLKES_Unlocks123_v1.4.1.zip to folder on your desktop.

The zipped file contains the following:

FFOLKES_Unlocks123_v1.4.1.exe (Contains the Unlocks123 mod)

Instructions.pdf

Kit_Descriptions.pdf

5. Install FFOLKES_Unlocks123_v1.4.1.exe by double-clicking the executable file.

6. The install program will launch and copy the Unlocks123 mod to your Battlefield 2

mods folder directory.

7. The install program will create a desktop shortcut pointing to the Unlocks123 mod.

You may need to create or edit the shortcut in case the installer fails to read from

the Registry the correct path to Battlefield 2. For example:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/Unlocks123

8. Launch your game using the new Unlocks123 shortcut and enjoy!

NOTE: You are at your own risk if you make any change to the Unlocks123

mod or BF2 mod files/folders.

NOTES:

1. This mod will not affect your BF2 mod, any other installed mod, or online gaming.

2. This mod allows you to play the default BF2 Single-Player/Co-op maps with all the

unlocked weapons per kit.

3. You can also play any custom map with all the unlocked weapons. Just download,

extract, and copy the custom map folders into the …\mods\Unlocks123\Levels

folder.

4. The Unlocks123 mod v1.4.1 now supports the Armored Fury and Euro Force

booster packs.

5. In game your unlocked weapons for each kit will be keys 1, 2, and 3. They are

also accessible through the mousewheel scroll.

6. If you want to increase or decrease the number of bots in your Single-Player game

just edit the aidefault.ai file found in the AI folder of the Unlocks123 mod.

For example, if you want to play with 64 bots with expert level then make the

following changes.

BEFORE:

aiSettings.setMaxNBots 64

aiSettings.maxBotsIncludeHumans 1

aiSettings.setBotSkill 0.4

AFTER:

aiSettings.overrideMenuSettings 1

aiSettings.setMaxNBots 64

aiSettings.maxBotsIncludeHumans 0

aiSettings.setBotSkill 1.0

7. The un-install program does work and will remove the Unlocks123 mod files from

your computer. However, if you copied any maps to the Unlocks123 mod folder

then you will have to manually delete the Unlocks123 mod folder after running the

un-install program. You may also need to manually delete the shortcut on your

desktop.

A lot easier to just use the Unlocks App. A program that is separate from your BF2 install, you just login to your singleplayer account, alt/tab out and activate the App, then go ingame and all unlocks are available. The App works with mods too, and also in Co-op mode.

The program sets off false positives on some AV programs. I've used both versions for couple of years with no side effects, and full scans of AVG, Malwarebytes, and Super Anti-Spyware after using the Apps I've had no problems.
