Can you play battlefield 2 on windows 8.1?

I was going to get it but I have no idea if it can run on 8.1

I had no problem when i had a W8 machine, so i dont think 8.1 would all a sudden break it.

dalton you are aware bad company 2 is not battlefield 2 right? i have both and battlefield 2 does not work on windows 8.1 or 8

Yes - my setup Win 8.1 works great with BF2 and BFBC2 :)

As Coffeecup stated, Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 2 work great on Win 8.1.
