Setting the ground textures to low in the options has stopped it from happening for me 90% of the time, you could play about with lowering the lighting and shadows see if that helps.
Searching aroung on Google pretty much just suggest what i have as far as i know there is not a patch or mod to sort it out.
Have a look in your graphics card options and set up a custom profile for the bf2.exe so that things like texture filtering, antialiasing, anisotropic filtering are forced to off and anything else you can find affecting textures ect.
You could try setting your graphics card up for a "performance" profile or a "quality" profile and test those out.
See what works best for you like i said i dont think there is one solution fits all.
