Battlefield 2 The Complete Collection Steam Key
Does anyone know where I can get a Steam key for this game? I have two physical copy's. One from 2018 from old gaming PC, and I got a new one this year in 2024 for my brand new gaming PC. I looked at the price on Kinguin and it is £1.041.01, crazy amount of money that is.

There are no Steam keys for this game, anyone claiming otherwise is lying to you. The only way to get this on Steam, is by buying a tradable Steam gift for the game someone bought before the game was delisted and stored in their inventory, and since there's a limited amount of those, they cost a lot. But Steam keys, they do not exist and never did, so if someone comes to you saying they have a Steam key, they are scamming you.

scammer, do not trade with them, you'll just end up with a lighter wallet.

A Steam gift costs mere €862.39 but for the Complete Collection.

A very minor obstacle.
I redeemed my key from the box copy

I was just curious about a text of a sourcer which claims, scamming is more lifeworthy, than lying. I bought Battlefield 2 in 2014, 31st of may. Had a hardcopy in 2006, maybe early, just yesterday searched for my old profile. Though I cannot verify there is no steamkeys for this game, and never were (since I cannot really remember the bought), I can verify I was here to see, why there is no real onlinefunction for this game, though there was normal online multiplayer in 2006 ^.^. But maybe I just entered my gamecode of my hardcopy to steam. But I do have no hardcopy here, Maybe I forgot it. I do not know.

PS: Why is the onlinefunction turned offline?

Online is off because Gamespy closed all it’s servers in 2014, this affected numerous games, not just BF2.

If you wanna play online, you need to use BF2Hub. https://www.bf2hub.com/home/

And if you remember your account credentials from the Gamespy days, you can recover them with that, because somehow BF2Hub has all the gamespy profiles saved.

I just checked the key and I consider remembering the key from the hardcopy, but honestly_steam wouldn't show "bought at 31st of month+year" when I just added the game to my library. So I still don't know.
