Nice guide. You might want to add, Coffeecup, that a person doesn't need to own an existing copy of the game in order to download, install, and play Battlefield 2 for free through Battlelog.co.

The guide currently says:
"Those having already owned BF2 (any version - EA CD/Steam/digital download etc) can register and start playing on the network."

Owning Bf2 (which would be hard to do for new players, since it is no longer sold) is not a pre-requisite to playing on Battlelog.co. It is free to everybody who wishes to play.
