PHYSX PROBLEM SOLVED!!! [Official since 2013 posting]

Ok, there are 2 ways to fix the installation when it tells you to it can't install the physx (this is usually from people who have the hard copy of the game, i think the steam handles this part ok) What to do is go to control panel and uninstall your existing physx, then install the physx from the disk.

Problem with that, though, is now you have an older version of physx. The second and better way to fix the physx is through NVIDIA itself http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.12.1031-legacy-driver.html This link will take you to the legacy driver, which will help games released around 2007 to work.

If this doesn't work, get the steam version, if that doesn't work, sorry you are missing out.

dude thanks so much, recently got an nvidia 550 ti couldnt get frontlines to play AGEIA physx was needed this fixed thanks a lot!!

I have an RX 480 NITRO+. I get the physx error and there's no way I can install it. Am I doing something wrong?

I got the softwhere but my computer is a X32 Bit and when i installed it i never showed up so i looked for it but still cant find it. Little Help?

is your graphics card nvidia?

it should be found in your control panel or msinfo32. I can't tell what gpu you have, but if it's not nvidia, you will have to find whatever the equivalent fix is for your graphics card.
