Fix for unable to launch at all?
I know about the physx problem but my problem is when trying to launch the game just nothing at all happens. Steam shows the game starting for a few seconds then it doesnt actually start at all. Nothing happens on my PC, steam quickly shows im no longer playing the game. Any help with this?

If you have a newer processor it might be that the game can't handle the number of cores. Fortunately there is a microsoft program that extends the compatibility options for running programs. The setting we are going to add I think lies to the program about the number of processors. The description below is the abbreviated version to keep it as simple as possible. I will post a link to the larger version which others have found worked, but this version is simpler and should still work.
It may make changes to the registry so I would advise you to back that up first in case. I've had no issue with this fix applied to two games for well over 3 months but up to you wether to use it.

For Medal of Honor you need to fix two files. The setup file (moha_setup) this is where you can set your resolution and is the actual file steam launches when you press play and the game exe (MOHA.exe). So repeat these steps for each file.
Search on google for "windows adk"
The top result should take you to a microsoft page with a link to the latest Assessment and Development Kit (ADK)
Download this and run, but install only the compatibility tools.

Run the 32 bit version of the compatibility administrator (on the start programs menu it is under windows kits)
In the left column right click on the "new databases" below "custom database" rename it to Game Fix
With it highlighted click "fix" on the toolbar near the top.
Type in the name of the game you are fixing and the vendor (I have no idea if this matters I used Airborne, EA)
Then browse for the exe. (for Medal of Honor Airborne this is MOHA.exe and moha_setup in the game directory, subfolders /unrealengine3/binaries).
Then click "next"
I changed nothing on the next screen so click "next" again
On the next screen tick "processorcountlieforhybridCPU"
Click "Next"
On the next screen click "auto-generate"
Then click finish
Back on the main screen click the "save" button in the toolbar (I save it to the game directory)
Then right click your "Game fix" database and click "install"
Once you have done both files, the launcher should now work and when you click play game on it the game should launch.
