Aye it works on Win7 64 Bit. I had to remove the Nvidia PhysX newer version so that the game could install the older version that came with it, in order for the game to complete the install. Other than that it works just fine.

I'm running Windows7 64 Bit Home Premium and kept getting a "PhysX Must Be Installed" error message when trying to start the game. It worked for me after several hours trying to find a solution - which I found at the top of this game's discussion page. Somebody very kindly posted a fix which worked straight away for me:

http://www.nvidia.com/content/DriverDownload-March2009/confirmation.php?url=/Windows/9.12.1031/PhysX-9.12.1031-SystemSoftware-Legacy.msi&lang=us&type=Other

Why the hell we should have to do this is another matter. Steam should sell games that WORK!

It's not necessary tu uninstall a new PhysX. Just download latest legacy PhysX from NVidia[www.nvidia.com]. Legacy & newest versions work both independently

Well it was obvious to me that without removing the newer PhysX which had been installed with the latest version of the Nvidia driver; the installer would not complete. AND once it was removed the install went on without a hitch. The knowledge that a downloadable LEGACY PhysX would have solved the problem I could not, nor would not have guessed. Besides what ever the new Nvidia HAD installed as a PhysX driver was defenitely causing a halt to the install, proven by once it had been removed the install went grand.

Of course, every PC system has it's own setting and problems. I just ignored (cancelled) an installation of old PhysX (it's version really obsolete i think 7.07.09. And it's obsoleteness only reason i post info here) & installation went Ok for me, but game did not start, then i found a legacy PhysX solution here in community. So, maybe, my expereince will help someone like me :-)
