Medal of Honor: Airborne

Medal of Honor: Airborne

super low fps on Origin version
Why does this game on Origin runs on 20 fps but steam version runs 200 fps perfectly on my pc? I want to play on Origin because it isn't censored like Steam version!

What do you mean when you say the steam version is censored?

I'm wondering why too. I just tried the version on Origin and my performance was atrocious.

It's an issue with Origin In-Game. You'll have to disable it. Here's how:

1) Open Origin.
2) Click the "Origin" option in the upper left hand corner.
3) Select "Application Settings".
4) Click on "Origin In-Game".
5) Disable it.

You're welcome.

Yikes, you're right. Something tells me they'll never fix that.

I'd love to try your fix, but upon attempting to re install my copy I got on Origin, I was told my licence was now invalid. I then fixed that issue by uninstalling Origin entirely, never to use that garbage service again.

*I went back on my word, and tried it again after reinstalling. Fixed itself, and disabling the overlay fixes performance too. Thanks, Phasmid.

No problem. I wish I could take the credit. The fix is on PCGamingWiki.

Further note: Origin Access now has the game. I wish EA would just release all of the Medal of Honor games on Access. I sort of miss the multiplayer element. I don't see the harm in releasing the entire series for Access, and updating the multiplayer servers. I imagine there's still a strong community for it.
