Install Issues
So, I got MOHA with the MOH 10th anniversary package. I have the correct version of PhysX, but when I start the setup, it loads to about 20% and just stops loading. Help? And dont suggest PhysX legacy, my computer cant run the installer.

Hmm. not only can you not install the game but even the legacy installer won't work. sounds like the issue is a more general pc issue where windows won't let you complete any installation.

1.)I assume you're running these installs as adminstrator?

2.) I found this on a forum when I googled it (I have no idea if this will work or make it worse; try it at your own risk):

"The problem turned out to be that Installer Service was "disabled". No idea how that happened nor if the fix will be permanent, but it works now.

1. Type "services" in the start box then Enter

2. Scroll down to "Windows Installer"

3. Right click & check status and startup type

4. If the service is "disabled" change it to "automatic" & "Apply"

5. After startup type changes click "Start"

6. Service should be set to "Automatic" startup and status should be "started"

7. click "OK"

Installer should now work and should be turned on automatically when Windows starts from now on. "

I assume you would have to reboot once you make the changes within services. Again, I have no clue if this could be the reason its not working for you. Sorry.

No, I dont think so. Other installers work, its just that the Legacy installer is a .msi not a .exe. When I try to start it, my computer shuts down. The MOHA installer starts, but freezes at about 20%. Other installers with the .exe format work just fine. My computer is crap.
The Windows Installer was off, and I turned it on. PhysX Legacy is now installed. No idea if airborne will work now.
Yep, nothing. Airborne install still freezes at 20%.

If anyone ends up having this issue, simply just wait. Trying to install from the disc causes it to be stuck at 20% for the install process, but after waiting for a few minutes (5-10mins or possibly more) it will end up properly starting and copying the files as necessary.
Once it then installs, you may have to uninstall your physx driver and possibly the physx driver the game might install (AGEIA physx driver), and then install the legacy nvidia physx driver "NVIDIA PhysX Legacy System Software V.9.13.0604" from nvidia's website, to fix the physx warning issue when trying to launch the game. Punching in "legacy physx drivers" into google should find the result. Once thats done you should be able to reinstall your graphics drivers and have the legacy physx driver and modern physx driver both installed and the game working.
