Dragon egg

Has anyone found a use for this yet?

not I
but it's in the 2nd tab in the crafting menu
meaning it's something used for crafting & cannot, on its own, be placed in the game map from there
maybe it just doesn't have any use -yet-

Same, would be nice to be allowed to place it in the dwarf home. Presumably they hatch eventually; you can see them in varying states of hatchedness down in the lava region...

I play the campagne mod at normal in world 1. I have 8 dragons at the bottom of the wolrd + 10 dragon eggs. I allready killed 5 dragons. After i cleared half of the bottom area (build a 2 layer of dirt over the lava) i noticed the 2 little dragons spawned in the cleared are from the dragon eggs. The nice thing is the big dragons drop realy nice loot (got a methril helmet from one). So far i dont know if the little dragons can drop mithirl things too. Hope i could help you all. Have fun.

Hi. I'm playing in sandbox mode. If I go through the portal, will I lose my dragon eggs and all my inventory? Thanks in advance for any help.

You can try but nothing happens in sandbox - you dont go anywhere.

Thank you. I just read about not being able to use the portal (for sandbox) in the FAQ, but I haven't tried because I've already had to grind for the past few hours just to get this far (dwarves wandering off and getting trapped with not enough mana and other minor annoyances). I'm a bit disappointed, to say the least, because I've been looking forward to finding the potion recipe for the dragon eggs. So, I guess I can hope for an update for that...I don't see the purpose of having the portal in sandbox if it can't be used.

I put an elevator above it and just have them collect it from that

dragon eggs are useful for alchemy in the forget your skills potion it is forthose who want to make the perfect setup of 3 perfect skills on each character and doesnt wana manually kill dwarfs 100x

this works? an elevator can grab the eggs? i havent came back on this game since they broke the game do you got any screenshot or evidence of how to do this?

Yeah, well the dwarf on the elevator collects the egg. Just make sure you put some dirt either side because sometimes when they mine the egg it jumps into the lava but yeah, just put an elevator above it, click the egg to mine it and they take the elevator down.

how do you know where they will fall is it anywhere theres an elevator or is it a specific location each
