Playing the 2nd campaign map I'm currently experimenting with snow and water and creating an artificial pond in the underground. But somehow I can't get it working. I understand that water is only kept in a basin with stone button. I'm also aware that snow blocks will melt below surface level and that I can order dwarves to fetch buckets of water to such a pool structure. However, the water just doesn't "add up".
