BUG: Invisible Unattackable Monster
My dwarves have now become obsessed with a monster/enemy that is not visible. Left to their own devices they will group in one spot and enter a loop where they try and attack, discover they can't, and then try and attack again.

This turns out to be a showstopper since given enough time, all my dwarves will group up in one spot and try and "attack" this thing I can't see.

Reloading the game does NOT clear this bug.

My work around was to place to "BEWARE" signs around the spot and take control of my dwarves and walk them away from the spot. I still have an occassional dwarf wander in there, but it makes my game playable again.

Hmmm, I wonder if that's why my dwarves' AI seems to be messed up today. They're mostly just not responding when I issue tasks.

I get this sometimes and the only work around i found was to take manual control and move them back or away from a certain spot.
I'm not sure what it is, i think it's something between a bugged enemy and loot across the map.

Getting the rally flag helped me solving the problem a little bit.

You'll know if you have this bug if you eventually wind up with a stack of overlapping motionless dwarves looking at what appears to be normal space. When you take contorl of the dwarf, their listed activity will ocillate between "Fighting" and something else that flickers off too fast for me to see.

Mine have a flashing status of "Finding way" and "Going/returning to base". I think the update caused it because they didn't have as much trouble with pathfinding before. They ignore the portals and walk or swim all the way across the map. At least that's how it started. Now they're just standing around.
You can move them away to deal with it temporarily but I've found that if you dig out all the area immediately around it, the problem will go away. Have done it successfully 3/3 times. Now if the game would just quit crashing....
