BUG?? Log bridges
So its ok to walk across one but if an item falls on it, it just passes right thru it? By that logic the dwarves should pas through it also.

Or is this the devs saying you need to use the T bridge instead? Not making much sense to me anyways - to support somethings but not others.

Logs are always slippery.... that is indicated by them falling off.
The wooden bridge is much more stable.

Stone bridges are even more stable.

Well then items should have 50% chance of staying on it, if thats the case.

Go try to set some items on a single log stretched over a ravine... then let me know how it fared.

Then try it again, but instead of setting it gently, drop it from shoulder level... then see if it lands.

... Hopefully you get the point.

Besides, using a log bridge or two at the front entrance of your tower or keep allows for very easy farming of drops as you kill baddies. The items fall down to the level below, where you can safely collect without worry of the hostiles above.
