Symbol Question

what does the mountain with a blue arrow over it mean? all my dwarves do is sit in my base and pop up the mountain symbol, they will still work but there a pain to work with now because they keep popping up the symbol.

It's a mountain with a path arrow over it, yes?

From my observations I could tell that it's most likely an indicator that pops up when a path is being calculated for a dwarf.

yea i clicked on the dwarf and it said in the corner calculating path, but thanks everyone for your replys. i dunno what they are trying to get to, guess thats my next problem to figure out, but atleast now i know more about whats going on. thanks again.

I usually see that when you mark out a large area for them to mine out. Some of the dwarves will try to find a path to the blocked dirt, which of course they can't.
