Launching CTW on Windows 10
If the game doesn't work on Windows 10?

32 bit? Oh dear, it's not exactly a version to play games on. You are much better of with a 64 bit version. Can't you install win 10 64 bit? Everything runs a lot better.

IF you have the install dvd from microsoft win 10 64 bit version, you can uninstall the 32 bit with the dvd. Then run the 64bit install.

Hi, just received the game as a gift and cannot get it to start. Any time I try to start the game or the editor it gives me a crash dump. Same happens when I am invited to a game. I have tried all the compatibility tricks, the resolution trick, run as admin, still nothing. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, have verified game files, made sure Windows, video card driver, and Steam are all up to date. Running Win 10 Pro. Please help, and thank you.

I looked at your other games and if they run without problems, then you need to read the crash dumps, most of the time it tells you where it crashes on. Or look at your window system map for the files that also tells you what went wrong.

Following the FAQ, changing administrator rights did not help. Neither did modifying the DPI. Neither did setting compatibility mode to Win 7. Pretty sure I have the latest graphics drivers. Anyone else having the same problem?

I am having the same problem. My game updated and now it crashes during the loading screen. I unsubscribed to all mods, uninstalled and reinstalled game, removed all files left in folder before reinstalling. All drivers and Java are up to date. I also turned off save to cloud.
Tried starting the game in both normal and d3d9. Help!

After a new pc and reinstalling the game it works fine, with only 1 little problem:

This is issue with monitor resolution and Hz, deevlopers can simply provide us window mode start param like .exe -window and so many people goona play. Lazy rich game director/lead didnt read comments.
