Shaping walls ?

Have a question - been watching some earlier videos on you tube and noticed that you could shape walls, but the way described doesn't seem to work now, has the ability to do this been removed or just redesigned ?

Ok, I figured out how to do it with wood walls. I saw in one of the guides you can get shaped stone walls too, is this with normal stone blocks or is it a craft item that comes further up the tech tree ?

I don't know what you mean by "shape" the walls, but you can change the orientation of a wall by clicking on it with the type of wall already selected on your cursor. It won't work with blocks, just walls.
