Disable Halloween content

Is there a way to disable the Halloween content?

Try changing the date on your computer's clock to say March or some other month that Halloween isn't near. It's also a good tip on how to get it to come up when you want to play with the Holloween content but it isn't near Holloween.

Changing the time worked, but it doesn't retroactively change current worlds, and of course changing the clock in Windows can have have adverse effects in other applications. I like the original sprites and content so much better. I guess I'll just have to wait.

Same happened to me. And I agree that changing the clock in Windows can have adverse effects.

I assume you can change the clock back after the game starts up, so the clock is only wrong for a minute or two? That should minimize the effect on anything else.

I assumed that as well, but it doesn't work. It appears to be checking the time with every spawn. Each tree, each creature, etc. If I change the time back while the game is running haloween stuff starts spawning.

I can't leave the time wrong because applications start crashing, webpages don't display correctly. It's just all around bad. Holidy updates can be fun, but I wish they could be toggled.

I wish there was a toggle for the opposite reason. I'd rather play with these waves indefinitely.

I would like to be able to chose an easy world, a normal world, and etc.
