Serious lag when progressing through Lonely Mountain
Need some help here... The stage started smoothly but as I progressed further down it just got slower and slower as if my pc cant handle the addition of the new tiles, units ect.

I am running an I7 920 with 10gb ram and a GTX 960 on Windows 10. I ran windows resource monitor while playing and the graphs shows the graphs show little change to HDD or Ram and CPU clocks 50-60%.

I had an issue with resolution when I upgraded to windows 10 which was fixed by using compatibility mode but turning this on or off or running as admin doesn't change the lag issue, adjusting CPU affinity doesn't seem to help either... I am outa Ideas...

Maybee to much monster /orcs spawn?

I was thinking the same thing. I have explored about half the map and have a few hot spots so I have been killing them off but it hasn't made a dent in the lag so far...

I found the problem. It was indeed too many monsters on the map. There was a room with the biggest horde I have ever seen in this game, there must have been over 100 orcs in there! It was a mission to kill them all. This game is a little broken... Thanks for the assist, much appreciated

I could not test it. But here a two mods wich maybee help.

This should kill all "Orcs" if the lag is to big.
1. Enable the mod
2. Load Lag-Save
3. Save Game.
4. Disable the Mod

Enable this mod and new "Orcs" should have a despwan time from 15 Minutes.

This does not fix the resaon for "over spawn" but may it can lower the symptoms.
