Not crafting a workbench

I just installed the new DLC and now it does not allow me to craft a workbench. It says I need a wooden table, crafted 3 of those and still says i need a wooden table to craft a workbench

I have not had any trouble with that. I know this is obvious but, make sure you have the right wooden table?

Edit: and that is actually in inventory. Not being carried around by some dwarf, or thrown around by a ghost, or stolen by a goblin, etc.

Thanks. 100% have the right table. I started a new game, working now. Was just a glitch I suppose

odd. glad you got it to work properly. Figured it was the correct table, but ..., just in case :)

I have the same issue but annoyed if I have to start a new game. I have the right table but still doesn't work. I have even tried to manually add the items and nothing. I do have a couple of mods so maybe there is a conflict somewhere? Fiddled with the mods and now most of my inventory stuff is gone. I will start a new game but this 'glitch' seems odd. To make a workshop it says I need a pile of ore and a workshop?

Yeah that's weird. But mods + version updates seem to be a regular problem with his game. :(

I have started a new game 5 times and still can't make workbench anyone found a solution
