Temples of the 4 Elements

Hi,

Was wondering how many temples have you found.. I found 5 on the campaign map, and only found 3 of the 4 elements.. I'm missing wind/air temple?..

Do the temples randomly generate each map? Should you always get all 4 elements on each map?

Hello, yes, they generate randomly each map. And no, you shouldn't always get 4 elements, it's also random.

This seems weird. It's called Temples of the 4 Elements. Why wouldn't there be 4 temples to find? I found 3, 2 of them are fire. Feels incomplete. :(

Oh, and I cleared everything, got all 5 parts of the portal, but cannot go thru it.

That's because you choose Custom game. Opportunity to go through the Main portal is a part of Campaign game.

If you play on a small map, you're unlikely to get all four elements, let alone four temples. There's simply not enough space in the underground to fit them all. (There's only space for about a max of 8 rooms: one portal room, 4 other guardian rooms, and you'll likely get a cavern at least; so 2 underground temples and one aboveground air temple would be what I'd expect on the map.)

Also temples are random elements so it's possible not to get all four elements even on the largest map, though that's highly unlikely.

just found a temple of water but no enemies spawned when my dwarves got near what do i do?

When I played campaign I got wind first. Then fire, earth and fire again.
No water one.
I wondered what would happen when I have all 4 elements in control but apparently that's no goal of the game xD
