Weird Door?

There are these old stone areas under ground and they have doors but ive harvested almost all the stone around it but I can't destory/harvest the door? How do I get access?

I have been wondering the same thing. In these new rooms there is a lot of other stone items like chests, torches, catapults, doors on the walls, and etc. I can replace or remove all but the doors.

It has a rounded top and head on the door, it has a stone platform under it, i just can't find a way to open it (which hopefulyl doesn't unleash hell) or demo it in any way.

You can't open them. They are supposed to open on their own, and pop out some zombies. But there seems to be a problem with them where they don't always work.

it's really annoying to be not able to dig my fortress properly because of a door that I can't remove :P
