New DLC... can you save or pause in multiplayer yet?
Can you save or pause the game in this new DLC for multiplayer? Would like to know before my friend and I buy the DLC. Loved playing the original multiplayer, but not being able to pause/save was horrible.

We only did like a 20 Min break, but all I had to do was start up the same World and we were all in again as if we never left. So I guess the saving is a "Yes" :)

Never tried to pause tho

Cannot pause or reduce the speed below 1.5x which is a pain in the ass but it does auto save when the host closes the game.

So basically more or less you just tell your friend "hey I'm closing it down for a break for bathroom" and it's like pausing it you just have to reload it up then?

Also, how hard is it to "connect" a Multiplayer game. Do you need a server, or server host, or is it easily ran on your own PC, and also can you type in the game to talk, or do you have to use Steam/VOIP?

Yeah you can easily just close it down and rehost it loading is pretty fast. Server are ran from your computer one person is the host and up to 4 other players can join. You each get your own storage and also can put things into the public storage to share.

Not sure about the talking in game I use discord with my brother whenever we play I would imagine you can text chat though I will check the next time we play.

Sounds good. Also, how do you "control" where you put stuff, or how it's placed? Do you just click and drag whatever is in your stockpile to the "shared" one, or?

Haven't seen any gameplays on it yet, or "tutorials" and I know the devs won't make one, so XD

When you first start the game you have your own personal stockpile you can place and so does each player that joins. You also each have a totem so you dont have to build together if you do not want to. When you go to your build menu along the bottom there are two arrows you can click to either add or take from the public stockpile that is how you transfer materials.

Yep and then your friend or allies could click the arrow to take from the stockpile and it would be added to their own stockpile to build with. You dont auto use anything in the shared stockpile you can only build with things from your own personal stockpile. I have found a iron node and a coal node so far that regenerate in my game but im not sure if that was also added to the single player.

Seems a lot of people are having issues connecting to play with one another and the monster waves are too frequent.

Have not had any connection issues yet but I completely agree that the monster waves are way too frequent expecially when you are forced to play at 1.5x speed.

That sounds horrible. Which I play at x2 speed all the time but people are saying monster waves are every night
