Could I make a Trading Card Game in this?
I enjoy card games, and as such have made my own. I was considering how to put it into a digital format, figured it would be something fun to mess around with. So using this could you make a card game, sort of similar to Magic the Gathering. Also would you be able to set up a decent ai for something like that in here as well?

Also could you use it for board game in general? I would love to try and make something like a strategy game with a hexagon type grid. Or maybe something like the D&D Ravenloft game, where you have a expanding board as you play and progress.

I guess im not the best to answer your question but i used the old MMF2 many days ago.
Possible is nearly everything.

For both of your ideas you need much much work.
There is no function to handle 'cards' or an isometric view.
I recommend you create a side scroller or something easy like that and after maybe a year and with a year of work you can do your D&D or TDC games.

Watch a Youtube Tutorial from Multimedia Fusion or this Fusion 2.5 and you will see how to make easy things and you can consider if its possible for you ;)

POSSIBLE BUT A LONG WORK!

-ps english is not my native language :-/

EDIT:
OLDER VERSION!
This tutorial series can help you to consider how much work it MAYBE COULD take:

A bit advanced, however to point you in the right direction, you would use a list to, well list all of your cards. Then you would use a single array for your players deck, and then either one or several arrays for your ai decks.

An array works in a battleship like format, X1 Y1, X2 Y1 and so on. Y1,Y2,Y3 and so on would be your cards, and the X1,X2 and so on values would hold things such as the card name, description, value, effect and so on.

Now array's may seem straight forward, however there are two types, a numerical array, and a text array. With a numerical array, you can only use numbers, however with a text array you CAN use numbers and text with a bit of string conversion.

As for actually trading cards with other players, that would require learning to use the lacewing extension, however I would suggest you first learn to properly use an array first, as it can be used in all sorts of creations.

Yes you could.

I'm not a card game fan but anything is better than another damn infantile clicker game lol.
Go for it man, I wish you the best and don't forget to show us how it's going!
