Games won't open in Multimedia Fusion 2 anymore?
I just bought Clickteam Fusion 2.5+ and edited an old game I made on MMF 2. So I've saved the game a few times in Clickteam Fusion 2.5+. Now when I try and open it in MMF 2 it
gives me 2 error messages and wont open. Even though its still an MFA file. Is this normal? Why is this happening?

it's normal when you move from an older version of a software and save a file on a newer one, I recommend you to make a backup of that file before saving it on a newer version. Clickteam Fusion 2.5 has a lot of new features and optimization methods and they have been added to that MFA file, so even being the same file structure contains different data, meaning that Multimedia Fusion 2 won't be able to read them fully and will probably send an error instead.

IIRC CF 2.5 saves a .mmf2backup or .mmf2backup.mfa file in the same folder when you overwrite a MMF2 file with 2.5. Do you see it? This is your original MMF2 file.

No, I can't find that file. I did make a back-up of my game before using CF 2.5 though.

Why would you use such an outdated version if you have access to 2.5+ though? Seems insane to me.

The only reason I did this was to see if there are any features removed from CF 2.5+. that were in MMF 2.
