Try opening the backup (your backups should have the same name but instead of having the MFA extension they will instead have a numeric extension (example 001 instead of MFA) to indicate that they are indeed a backup).

If you are able to open the backup and not the MFA then it is likely your MFA has been corrupted but in order to be certain the MFA is corrupt do the following:

1. Start a new project.
2. Save said project (a single empty frame is sufficient for testing purposes, don't worry about global variables, events, UI and game loop elements etc..) to your desktop/primary work directory and give it a name of "Test.MFA"' (or another name of your liking).
3. Exit Clickteam Fusion.
4. Start Clickteam Fusion.
5. Attempt to load "Test.MFA".

6A. If Clickteam Fusion 2.5 at this point is able to load "Test.MFA" then it is likely the MFA you are concerned about is corrupt, I would compress the corrupted MFA file and archive it, I would at this point load and continue working from my last set of good/most recent backups.

6B. If Clickteam Fusion 2.5 is unable to load "Test.MFA" then it is likely something has gone wrong on your end and the MFA in question is not corrupt, I would contact support but first I will uninstall and then reinstall CF 2.5 and see if this helps.

Hope this helps.

Okay. Thanks. I made a huge game and a lot of coding, so then when I got off of Clickteam it wasn't loading. I think it's going on the wrong end. Thanks again

This message may be displayed if you have used an unofficial tool to decompile an EXE created with Fusion 2.5 and/or have imported corrupted objects or events from a MFA created by this tool.

This tool was made for an old version of MMF 2.0 and generates corrupted files when you use it for a CF 2.5 app (corrupted object data and corrupted events). You must not use this tool.

If you didn't use any data (objects or events) created with this tool in your MFA, then you can send it to me so that I check what happens. (by PM in the CT forum for example, I'm Yves in the forum)

Hm. Seems like it's still doing it. What do you want me to send to you? A video of what happens are what? :I

If the MFA you are trying to open is the result of the decompile tool, deleting the tool won't matter, The MFA was formatted and created by the tool, thus no matter what will not open.
