Every single build crashes

I don't know what im doing wrong. I tried using build and run and it freezes Fusion 2.5. I tried the Build option and then opening the exe using windows and it freezes and the process can't be terminated. So i thought it was something wrong with the game so i downloaded a tutorial and the same thing happened. the only way to kill the processes is by restarting the computer. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm using Windows Vista ( i know, im sorry )

How much RAM do you have?

it's an old computer, it has maybe 4 gb

Yeah. When i get home i will, it might take about 5 hours :(. However i'm starting to think its a vista issue. I brought the compiled apps to work and they open and work with no issues. At least they do in windows 7

kisguri, i did exactly what you said: new empty project---> build ----> tried to run the app
and it crashed again. OR actually, it's not so much that it crashes but it just never opens. the cursor is forever stuck in the spinning icon animation. When i check the task manager in the process list, there are 3 instances of the same app ALWAYS running. same happened yesterday with the other apps i compiled. Only one shows my username in the process list, the other two just show the name of the process

Check your app properties and tell me if runtime compression is on. Some virus protection software do not like apps that are compressed.

Right click / properties / General / advanced ?

if so, file attributes are checked, compression or encryption attributes are unchecked

okay i just checked and compression level is set to normal

it still doesn't open the app after compiling
Edit: it was the antivirus. I'm using avast and i disabled for 10 minutes for a test since you mentioned the issue with the antivirus. All apps opened with no issues. Thanks for your help.
